Are you passionate about helping young children and families by providing specialised support and education to assist them to adjust to parenthood?


Formed in 1917, QEC is Victoria’s largest provider of residential and community based Early Parenting Services. We deliver a variety of different programs to more than 3,800 families annually - directly and in partnership with government and NFP partners across Metropolitan and Regional Victoria.


QEC is a 42 bed public hospital and community service organisation. We provide residential, inpatient services at our Noble Park site as well as supporting families via Telehealth.    


We are keen to hear from nursing professionals with a passion for the work we do. As an Early Parenting Practitioner you will provide specialised support, care and education to enhance families' parenting competencies. You will be responsible for improving parents' knowledge, skills and attitudes as well as build the ability of parents to meet their children's health, safety and developmental needs.


To be considered for this role you will possess:

Div 2 Nurse (medically endorsed)/Mothercraft Nurse 

You will ideally have previous experience working with families in the health/welfare sector or mother and baby unit 

An understanding of child development and the factors that can impede a child's development
