101st Annual General Meeting

QEC was extremely proud to host our 101st Annual General Meeting on November 13th 2019.

We were entertained by young students from the Noble Park English Language School. We launched our Annual Report and we unveiled our new Strategic Plan!  

We were also very pleased to have Sheena Watt release our first Reconciliation Action Plan. We acknowledged many contributions to our great organisation – including Ian Ross as our new Life Governor and a number of staff who have contributed many years of service. Click here to view Annual Report.

Visit from Premier of Victoria and Minister for Families and Children

Yesterday the Premier of Victoria and the Minister for Families and Children came to QEC and made a significant announcement – a total package of over $200 million to support families with infants / young children.

 

This includes:

· $9 million to QEC for an upgrade / expansion to QEC Noble Park facilities

· An additional 7 Residential Early Parenting Services across rural and regional Victoria

100th Annual General Meeting

QEC was extremely proud to host our 100th Annual General Meeting on November 14, 2018.

 

After a heart-warming performance by a group of young musicians from the Noble Park English Language School, a family who had recently enjoyed QEC’s support shared their unique perspective.

 

We celebrated the achievements of our staff, and acknowledged three staff who have provided a combined 45 years of service to QEC. Our Board President gave a great speech acknowledging our partners, our team and the contributions of our Board. We were honoured to present Life Governor awards to two long standing contributors to our organisation: Mary Sayers and Jenny Fairbairn.
