For over 100 years the Queen Elizabeth Centre (QEC) has provided specialised care, support and guidance to help parents manage the many challenges that arise during early parenthood, from before birth until 48 months.
QEC has a skilled, multidisciplinary workforce who work in a child centred, strengths based partnership approach by building genuine and respectful partnerships with families in order to improve outcomes for children.
The QEC residential unit based at Noble Park provides 1, 5 and 10 day programs for caregivers experiencing challenges with parenting. Families are provided with practical support, education and advice whilst residing at QEC. Our practitioners assist families to develop an action plan, identifying goals they would like to achieve during their stay at QEC. We provide individual coaching, counselling and modelling to support this.

To be considered for this role you will possess:
Div 1 Registered Nurse or Direct Entry Midwife
Ideally with a further graduate qualification in Paediatrics, Midwifery, Maternal and Child Health Nursing or similar
Experience working with families in the health/welfare sector (preferred)
Experience gained within a mother and baby unit will be highly regarded but is not essential
