QEC’s Early Parenting Services offer programs for families with children from birth to the age of four. We know that children develop very quickly during their first three years.

08.HISTORY
QEC originated as a baby health centre opening in North Richmond in 1917. Over the years, it became pre-eminent in the provision of maternal child health care, and the training of nurses, throughout Victoria.

11.BOARD OF MANAGEMENT
A 12 member Board of Management has overall responsibility for the governance of QEC (ref. Health Services Act 1988). The current President is Ms Susan Harper, OAM. Members are appointed by the Minister of Health and serve terms between 1 and 3 years on a voluntary basis.
